Custom Travel Itinerary Planning

The “Hidden Tax” of Modern Travel

On the surface, the internet made travel planning look easy. In reality, it just made it noisier. What used to be a simple choice has evolved into a high-stakes research project that consumes your most precious resource: your time.

Today, a single search for “Best Hotel in Tokyo” returns over 200 million results. You aren’t just looking for a room; you’re navigating a minefield of:

Skewed Reviews

Sifting through “sponsored” content and fake five-star ratings to find the truth.

The Logistical Puzzle

Trying to calculate if a 45-minute layover in Heathrow is a “bold move” or a mathematical impossibility.

Dynamic Pricing Anxiety

Wondering if the price will drop tomorrow or if that “only 1 room left!” notification is a marketing tactic or a warning.

The High Cost of a “Small” Mistake

When you plan a complex, multi-city journey yourself, the margin for error is razor-thin. One misinterpreted train schedule or a missed “fine print” visa requirement doesn’t just cost money—it costs you the momentum of your entire trip.

Planning travel is a full-time job. Between coordinating private transfers, vetting local tour operators, and ensuring every dinner reservation aligns with your sunset views, the “mental load” of the trip often begins months before you even pack a suitcase.

Why Sophisticated Travellers Outsource

The world’s most seasoned travellers understand that expertise is a shortcut. You wouldn’t manage your own investment portfolio without an advisor, or represent yourself in a complex legal matter. Why treat your most valuable life experiences—your memories—any differently?

We distill 40+ hours of fragmented travel research into a single, elegant solution. We handle the complexity; you simply enjoy the destination.

Your Passport to the Extraordinary: Custom-Tailored Travel

In a world of cookie-cutter vacation packages and endless “analysis paralysis” on booking sites, the most valuable luxury isn’t a five-star hotel—it’s time. Specifically, the time you save on research and planning, and the quality of the time you spend away from home on a trip.

The DIY Dilemma: The average person spends more than 40 hours planning a single week-long trip. Between reading conflicting reviews and navigating complex transit schedules, the “vacation” can feel like a second job before you even leave the house.

At Freestone Travel, we believe your vacation shouldn’t look like everyone else’s Instagram feed. It should look like your dreams. We use our experience, expertise, and extensive travel-industry network to cut through the noise, provide you with the best options, and unlock unique value, ensuring you get a travel experience that is right for you.

The Power of an Expert Advisor

Working with a professional travel advisor isn’t just about booking a flight; it’s about gaining a dedicated advocate and a master curator.

  • Global Connections: We have “boots on the ground” in every corner of the globe. From room upgrades to exclusive after-hours tours, our relationships become your perks.
  • The “Un-Googleable” Experiences: We know the routes that aren’t on maps and the local guides who don’t have websites.
  • Safety & Serenity: If a flight is cancelled or a border closes, you don’t call a 1-800 number. You call us. We handle the chaos so you can stay in the moment.
  • Vetted Quality: We don’t guess based on filtered photos. We recommend hotels and partners we know and trust personally.

My boyfriend and I used Freestone Travel to assist in the planning of a trip to London, Paris, and Avignon in September 2025. They made trip planning go very smoothly and offered great recommendations for us that were tailored for our interests. They were able to offer accommodation suggestions based on areas we wanted to stay and remain within our budget. Right before we left, we were provided with a detailed itinerary with all our bookings and travel schedules laid out so we had no issues when we were on our trip. We'd highly recommend using Freestone Travel!

They did a great job of organizing my trip. There were many moving parts involving car rentals, visiting different cites, hotels, and excursions and it was all flawlessly executed.

Chris, at Freestone, was incredibly helpful in sorting out payments issues we had for our upcoming cruise. The cruise line's accounting systems were not properly reflecting payments made nor allocating these to the correct items. Also, various ship board and other credits had not been applied correctly. Chris worked with the cruise line on our behalf and used the contacts he cultivated there to escalate to senior levels of the organization when resolution was not promptly achieved. It was great to have someone advocating for us in this situation.
